      "Obituary : MRS. A. D. MATHESON - The death occurred at Strathalbyn on Sunday last of Mrs. Minnie Matheson, wife of Mr. A. D. Matheson, of Angas Plains. The late Mrs. Matheson was a prominent member of the Presbyterian Church at Strathalbyn, and was a great worker in that connexion. Besides her husband, she leaves one daughter Jessie (Mrs. L. B. Young), and two sons, Hugh (A.I.F); and Alistair (R.A.A.F.). The funeral was conducted at Strathalbyn on Tuesday." (ref : Southern Argus, 8th Feb 1945, p1)
