Strathalbyn Church of Christ (Barbara and Helen in front in Dec 2003)
Alexander Gordon helped to build this church. He and Ann were baptised by immersion here. Alexander was an elder. The church was growing but later many families moved north and the church eventually had to close. Later, Alexander and his family returned, opened the church again, and for a long time met by themselves. Alexander remained faithful through many difficulties and, "had the family not remained true ... it is quite probable that we would not have a Church of Christ here today".
